Membership Agreement

General

The Applicant acknowledges and agrees that a binding contract will be formed between the parties when it submits the application form, and will commit the Applicant to (i) timely payment of annual Membership dues and fees as determined from time to time by the Board of Directors and (ii) comply with all the terms and conditions of AAILA Certificate of Incorporation and Bylaws, as from time to time in force (which the Applicant acknowledges it has reviewed) and such rules and policies as the Board of Directors and/or Committees may from time to time adopt. The Applicant certifies that it meets the conditions of Membership specified in the Bylaws.

The applicant also acknowledges that memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Logo Usage

Members are entitled to display the AAILA member logo while they remain in good standing, but only for such purposes, and subject to such rules, as from time to time are described in the AAILA Logo Usage Guidelines, or upon request. When a company/individual ceases to be a member, it must remove all references to AAILA from its stationery, promotional material, social media and websites within thirty days.

Content Usage

A primary part of AAILA’s mission is the development of original content on the nature of the industry as well as timely industry related topics.  Members are entitled to view and present the content in keeping with the Content Utilization Guidelines so long as their membership is current.  This content is copyrighted by AAILA for the private use of our members.  Any use of this content by non-members without prior written authorization is prohibited.

Membership List Usage

No member of AAILA may solicit for or use the official membership list for any commercial purposes. This is a direct violation of our privacy policy. Any exceptions must be given explicit advanced approval in writing by the Board of Directors Chairperson.
